How a volcano work by Betty

The name, volcano" has its origin from the name Vulcan,a god of fire in roman mythogy. It is a land From molten rock and larva.

To begin with, under the earth there are tectonic plates that move. Due to this the magma is squeezed between the Tectonic plates

Not long after, the magma moves into the magma chamber.Next the Gas presses pushes the magma up the main vent. At this point half the magma moves up the main vent. The magma turns into larva.

Soon after the molten ash and rocks and think smoke and larva all come erupt out of the volcano and the small cracks on the side of the volcano.

Some volcanos are located in the ocean while some are on land. No matter where they are volcanos are controlled by the tectonic Plates.

How a volcano erupts by John

A volcano is a mountain it goes very deep into the earth some are under sea that blows larva like meteorites only from that volcano , these meteorites  are extremely hot
First the tectonic plates move tectonic plates are the crusts of the earth after magma gets squeezed
Between the tectonic plates next the magma goes up the magma chamber inside that magma chamber this gas pushers because of this the magma goes up. Soon after
The magma moves up the main vent half way up the main vent magma turns to larva and erupts burns everything.
Earthquake makes tectonic plates to move.
The eruption includes: ash cloud, pyroclastic flow and holes in the volcano and out of those holes come lava and ash.

How a volcano works by Ross

A volcano is a landform in the earth. where the molten rock and gases erupt a volcano has larva.

Firstly the earth's crust is made up of huge slabs called plates which is like A vigsaw puzzle not long after the gas magma move into the magma chamber.
Then the gas Pressure builds up moving the magma up the vent .

Next, half the magma moves up the vent then turns to the larva. During this stage the as pressure. Build then moves up the vent.

At this stage the larva erupts and burns everything . The rock and thick smoke erupts out of the volcano.

Volcanos can be above or below the ocean.

A life cycle of a wolf By Truly

A wolf has live young. A wolf is a mammal that is a carnivore a carnivore eats meat and drinks water. It lives in big packs in the full of trees at night they hunt for meat.

Firstly a male and female communicate and mate in a way of howling and barking, they mate in January and February. The male fertilise the female’s eggs as a result the female carries the embryo inside her for 65 days.

At this point the pups are born in May and June. The pups are fed by the female mother. After this when until the pups are fully grown they must learn to hunt by themselves. That means when they grow to an adult they know what to do.

After a while the pups grow into juvenile wolves. A juvenile pup hunts independently when they are 12 months old. The juvenile pup grows to full size for a young adult wolf, therefore they know how to hunt by themselves. The males are the only wolves that just hunt. An adult male wolf mates with the female adult wolf.

A life cycle of a wolf is hard. They are carnivores also they are mammals, mammals are animals that have a back-bone.

A honey bee is an insect. It has four stages in its life and it only lives for five weeks. When the queen bee lays her eggs the worker bee feeds it when it is full growth the worker seals the wax cell. The queen is  the only bee that lays eggs.

To begin with the queen bee lays her eggs in the wax cell. Soon after the worker bee feeds the larva. Therefore the larva grows to full size. This means that it will go though a metamorphosis.

In the next stage the worker bee seals the wax cell , as a result the larva makes a cocoon. The larva turns into a pupa, the pupa stays a little while in the wax cell then on the next day the pupa is ready to break out of the wax cell.

Not long after the pupa turns into an adult bee. The bee will mate with the queen bee. The worker bee does alot of work so in the end the bee only lives for five weeks. That means the cycle will start all over again.

The life cycle of a bee is quick compared to a human. Honey bees make honey collecting pollen and nectar.

Children should learn how to swim By ANIKA

I strongly agree that children should learn how to swim because it is for saftey, fun, and exersize.they will love swimming and they will get use to swimming.

To begin with children should learn how to swim because they won't be scared of the water any more.they will also learn how to save others if they do not know how to swim.  when  they  get  older  they  can go as much as they want.

The next reason I strongly  agree  that  children  should  learn  how  to  swim  because it is  good exercise. and  if  you  want to do   the  olympics  you  have  to  learn  how  to  swim . You  can  get  really fit  by  swimming  because  it  is  a  sport. its good for being fit.

Lastly   children   should   learn  how  to  swim  because  they  can  go to the beach or pool with their best friends or they can go with their family.

To conclude children should  learn how to  swim  because they can  learn  how  to  be  a  lifeguard when they get to university to study how to be  a  lifeguard  when  they  become  adults.

Dragons poem By Anika

A dragon is to be hired unless it's been fired.
My dragon is four and loves the floor.
It likes the door and kisses it's adore.
Unless you know this go to the hall.
My dragon my dragon will you ever stop kissing your adore.
Please oh please will you ever stop.
If you don't then get out the door.
I know that you love your adore but you are too young

children should learn to swim by stella

I agree children should learn to swim for safty , because it is good excersize and because it is fun for little kids.

The first reason children should lean to swim because if they drown they could sink to the bottom and die and the mum and dad won't know werethey have gone and that is why children should learn to swim

Seondly swmming is good for your bones and muscles and it is also a fun thing to on the weekends children should learn to swim because it makes you heathly strong and it is also a good skill for your bone's and muscles.

Finally children should learn to swim because it is fun and if you don't know how to swim you won't be able to go and play with your friends and you will be left out of the games they play.

I belive children should learn to swim because we got alot of water around Sydney. so that is why they should learn to swim.
swimming is fun.
