The life cycle of a honey bee.By Anika

A honey bee is an insect.it has four stages in its life cycle.it only lives for 5 weeks, when it is an adult.the queen bee is the only one thatlays the eggs.the worker bee feeds the larva.

To begin with, the queen bee lays her eggs in the wax cell.the worker bee will start to feed the larva.the larva will start to grow into ts proper size.

in the next stage, the worker bee will seal the wax cell.then, the larva makes its cacoon. soon the larva
will go through metamorphisis and turn into a pupa.

after a while, the pupa will begin to become an adult. the adult bee will live for five weeks. therefore the life cycle of the honey bee will start again.

the life cycle of the honey bee is very quick compared to the life cycle of a human.the honey bee does not live for long. but the human lives longer.

the honey bees will make honey by collecting nectar and pollen from the flowers they collect .
