A life cycle of a wolf By Truly

A wolf has live young. A wolf is a mammal that is a carnivore a carnivore eats meat and drinks water. It lives in big packs in the full of trees at night they hunt for meat.

Firstly a male and female communicate and mate in a way of howling and barking, they mate in January and February. The male fertilise the female’s eggs as a result the female carries the embryo inside her for 65 days.

At this point the pups are born in May and June. The pups are fed by the female mother. After this when until the pups are fully grown they must learn to hunt by themselves. That means when they grow to an adult they know what to do.

After a while the pups grow into juvenile wolves. A juvenile pup hunts independently when they are 12 months old. The juvenile pup grows to full size for a young adult wolf, therefore they know how to hunt by themselves. The males are the only wolves that just hunt. An adult male wolf mates with the female adult wolf.

A life cycle of a wolf is hard. They are carnivores also they are mammals, mammals are animals that have a back-bone.
